Hard to believe in today’s “million channels of choice” world, but TSN was one of the very first to exist outside of “over the air” offerings like CTV and CBC. Our plan to excite viewers was to dramatize the challenges athletes faced on the way to success. If “reality TV” existed as a concept then, this would be it – real people in unscripted situations overcoming huge odds. Something that everybody can relate to.
